JUWO in general

JUWO is a non-profit organization. The association Jugendwohnnetz JUWO manages all properties. More than 90% of the properties are rented, the rest are owned properties of JUWO. The Foundation Jugendwohnnetz JUWO is the owner of these properties.

JUWO mainly rents apartments in interim use from cooperatives and foundations. Since these apartments do not meet with much interest in the "normal" environment - fixed terms, soon to be redeveloped - we benefit from these apartments. Young people in education are only in Zurich for 1.5 - 2 years on average, so this fits perfectly.

JUWO rents and buys accommodation, which it then sublets to young adults in education, and is also a leader in interim use. In partnership with building cooperatives, real estate companies and private individuals, we manage properties ranging from individual apartments to housing estates.
